Fashion Inspired Nail art

I've been looking at different things to do for nail art and came across this fashion piece by Christopher Kane. I loved the dress and though it'll look cool on nails too. I could do it a lot neater on somebody else as I find it hard doing it on myself but you get the general idea. 

I did it by putting a bottom coat of Rimmel London pearl, then a layer on black squares and repeating this three times making sure the top layer is a layer of squares and then top it off with a top coat of just clear to make it last longer. It's pretty easy to do and looks quite good!
