Bowler Hats and Playsuits

I've been shopping so much recently I think it's become a bit of an obsession. I'm worrying myself with how much I've been spending, that's the problem when my student loan comes through and I feel rich for a few weeks. So be prepared for lots of new blog posts coming soon.
Outfit of the day is this playsuit from Miss Selfridge. I have accessorised it with a bowler hat from Miss Guided and shoes and bag from New Look. I love the colour of this playsuit it's like a burnt orange/brown colour. I'm currently loving my hat, I keep wearing it with everything, becoming a bit too much haha.
What do you think to bowler hats?

The Shift Dress

So I've wanted a shift dress for sooo long but with only being 5ft 3" and a size 6/8 it's hard to find one without it drowning me. So after for searching for so long I finally found one in the kids section in New Look. I thought it was going to be stupidly short but it wasn't and I looove the colour of this one too! It was only £12 as well soo much cheaper than any from the adults section, which I didn't mind paying what they actually are! I wore it with white heeled court shoes and a white clutch bag, making it look sophisticated and defiantly not something a 12 year old would wear (we hope).

Winters Here

So I've had to come to terms that winter's finally here, so thought I'd do a wintery post with my red poncho I got from the Clothes Show. I love it as its warm which you wouldn't expect and also I love the colour! I wore it with my River Island high waisted jeans and my Love Pink Boutique Cropped Fluffy Jumper. My shoes are from New Look and Bag from T K Maxx. I wore the Poncho again in the evening but with my velvet leggings which made it look more ready for the evening. I love the jumper as well, its soo warm and I love the colour!
What are you wearing this winter?

Working at the Clothes Show Live

Recently I know I have been a bit slacking with posting stuff. I have just been so busy with the end of first term at uni then working in the clothes show in the NEC, but I'm all done now and got plenty of time for blogging :). So I thought I'd tell you all about my recent time working at the NEC with Love Pink Boutique. I helped the company on their stall they had at the clothes show. I worked with them everyday it was open, Friday to Tuesday. It was extremely tiring but definitely an experience I wouldn't mind repeating! The company had never done it before so it was new to us all, but it went very well and managed to sell lots of stuff and get the name out to everyone!
I also got to watch the show on the last day, which was good, not as good as it's been before and I also noticed this year was the skinniest the models had ever been which I didn't think was right! Of course my favourite model, BB was there, he's always nice to look at!
Overall it was an amazing experience and I have lots of new clothes to show you in future posts, which will be coming soon!

Dog Tooth

This is my house mate's outfit for our night out on Monday. She is on trend with the dog tooth, without being over the top print. The trousers are slim fit, and high waisted, making them flattering with the tailored style. They were cropped to the top of the ankle giving her more length, even though she is already quite tall, but helps as she doesn't wear heels. The strappy blouse is loose fitting, making it easy to wear when out, as it's cool material. The necklace adds something to the plain top and her neck as her hair is up in a big bun.
What does everyone think to this style?

I Heart The 80's

I know that the 80's trend was 'sooo last season' but I just can't help but wish I was born in the 80's! I love the music, the films, the fashion, I'm a definite clone of my Mother's. So this is my take on skin tight shiny pants - like ones seen in Grease - and extremely baggy shirts everyone wore during that decade. My favourite thing about this outfit is the shirt. It's so versatile and can be worn the same day but to made to look like a complete different outfit - the other day I wore it long with a black belt around with the waist with black skinny jeans - The coat is from Oasis, a gift from my parents last Christmas, it is a bit big on me but its a naturally big coat you can't even tell, so I just made an extra hole in belt and it looks fine. The disco pants are from Republic, I know they're pretty much closed down but they're the best disco pants I had found on the high street as with having a big ass - not complaining - they usually ripped but these are still going strong after a year. My shoes are my New Look cut out boots and my bag is from T K Maxx.

This outfit is easy to dress up for town with a pair of statement red heels and a black clutch. My disco pants will be staying in my wardrobe until it's socially acceptable (hopefully for at least a year). I also have a pair of red ones, but I fell they're a bit christmassy so just come out for special occasions during the festive seasons.

What do you think to the 80's trend we were loving last season?

Out Fit Of The Day

Today I wore Next grey 'spray on' jeans, New Look wet lock top, F & F at Tesco tweed and wet look jacket with New Look cut out heeled boots, accessories are from Next, necklace and bag is from T K Maxx. I love this jacket from Tesco's. Its so easy to wear and its perfect for sunny but cold Autumn days. It can be dressed up or worn down like how I have done it. In this photo I had just dyed my hair too, I personally think it looks too dark compared to what it was like, but I'm getting used to it! I think this bag has got to be my favourite bag I have purchased, it's the perfect size to use at uni but still looks small enough to not look like a suitcase on me.
If you had this Jacket, what would you do with it, I need some inspiration on different ways to wear it?
